A ladybird card
This is a birthday card with the ladybird as theme. Maybe it's not evident here but the ladybird is actually made out of foam paper. In the inside, there is a pop up birthday cakes n candles..I learnt how to make the pop up thing through teddie's blog(teddie is a famous pop up card blogger).Pop ups are tedious to do and takes more time...so..what I'm saying here is that, those who do them are surely patient people!

REAL CUPPIES
Few weeks ago,I made these simple cupcakes as hantaran for my cousin' wedding. Writing on the cuppies were a challenge! Far more difficult than writing on a piece of card..I should say. This was my first attempt-creating hantaran-themed cupcakes. I am quite happy with the comeout!Go!Go! Me!

For Hari Raya

Yeaa!!
After postponing for a few weeks, I actually have some time to spend uploading the latest hari raya card!
I'm in the midst of completing a 17-hari raya-card that was ordered 2 weeks back..so quite busy juggling my time. Actually I have already done and sent 8 hari raya cards which were ordered in June. This client of mine pre-ordered the cards because she also ordered a big 32cmx24cm birthday card for her mum's birthday in August.I'll post the picture later..hopefully
So..talking about my 2009 hari raya card design, this time around,I am using the 'pelita' as the theme (previously I've used themes like mosque,ketupat,cartoon-check out 2008 blog)
This year's card is :
1. simple (as always!). I want it to be affordable to my friends and customers as it is the season where cards are given to many people
2. very handmade..because the 'pelita' is drawn by me! I cut out a square in the middle of the card and later drew the 'pelita' with motives on the inside.
So..that's it. only ONE design.but I think every cardmaker would agree that it is so difficult creating a different hari raya card each year.

A card posted to Mastura who is now living in Shah Alam. Even though she's no longer my colleague..I remember to send her a card every year. And this year I decided to give her a cupcake-themed card..if she lives in Ipoh, I might have given her a real cupcake!..

....like the one beside.

This is the cupcake I made in the class I attended recently.I am so excited with this new skill!! I hope to create more mouthwatering cupcakes since the art of decorating cupcakes is also as challenging and as satisfying as creating a card..don't you think?

This is the card I made for Rosmina..my dear friend. The butterflies( always my favourite..) were bought at jln kuala kangsar.

For someone you love

It is a bear-themed card but it is not meant for kids..this card can be given to your loved ones to show how much you love him or her.I drew the bear, cut it out,put it onto the folded card with the floral background and just decorate it with LOVE(there are actually a lot more 'love' embellished underneath the folded part but I forgot to take a picture from that angle). The card is so sweet..don't you just love it!

My first attempt

Cupcakes!!I just love them. This time I iced the cakes with three colours-pink,green and white. Pheww! This was my first attempt with icing and... it was difficult! It took me hours to decorate
a dozen (some is even done by my kids..you can identify them, can't you?)What's even frustrating is-it took you hours to do it but everything is gone by a few swallows@in a minute!!
